Well guess what mr. poopy pants. I used 3" diameter black plastic piping. I’m sorry if I stole your money er I mean time, but you spent your money/time posting. I don’t care if it doesn’t give me 100 fucking hp or 0. I just know it helps get air better when i go down the interstate or what have you.

It should of been relative to you as well. Time equals money right? So don't you wan't to do something with positive PROVEN results? I'm not here to clown, but like they say the TRUTH hurts.
If you just have a pipe, fine that is not of my concern and is your perogotive. Like Bobby Brown "do what you want to do". But for people to respond to something that has 0 proven results in HP of any nature is just plain ignorant and counter productive. Shure it may spawn a few ideas, but cmon' for this thread to ramble so long with the same non sence just baffles me.

If you had engineered correctly a scoop compresses air making it colder, a pipe by itself is not compressing, compacting air in any manner, but can infact take the velocity and rate of speed in which you are traveling. Especially if the velocity/speed of your vehicle legally won't hit over 80MPH on the freeway how will you see any significant results.
Truth is you wont..........
Sorry that I POOD, shiat the truth all over this thread............

sorry jake, but i agree with big v on this one. While i have my bumper off, im going to have one of thw welders at work make a scoop to fit tight where the driving lamps would be on the canadian model. I was thinking that making it in a triangular prism shape, with the pipe coming directly into the air box. Any ideas on materials?

That is just simply moving air to a space underneath the wheel well where it normally wouldn't get air thats all it is. As far as if it works well......... Lets just say it's not designed like Porche...... Raine puts in alot of good thought, but if it works well, that is more GHETTO fabulous for people not strapped for cash........
I use cross drilled rotors, now that is a proven result....

I'm not going to argue just wanted to bring some relative thought........

Ok, but im not bragging that im gaining a load of hp or anything by having it. Im just saying its got to do something at least a little bit better than it was before. I mean wouldnt you agree. Maybe no hp, but maybe keeps the engine just that little bit more cooler? I mean it couldnt hurt it.
