coldstart = bog + code 45
ive just recently bought a 90 240sx w/89k miles. After about 70miles of driving it, I got CEL. I checked for codes and I got Code 45 (Fuel Injector Leak). After having a mechanic look at it, he tells me I have an exhaust leak. Whoever had the car before me was missing 4 bolts on the exhaust manifold. So I bought some bolts, and put them in. I also changed plugs/wires/fuel filter(300zx). I reset my ECU (code 55) and the car ran great. 30 miles later the CEL came back on. Now everytime I start the car in the morning, in first gear the car will bog and Code 45 will spit out again. All my injectors are clicking, I cant smell any fuel, I dont see any leak around my injectors. Im really tempted to change the O2 sensor and the fuel pump to Walbro 255 (as i seen in other threads). After the car is warmed up it drives great and pulls great. Im just trying to find out if you guys have had this type of problem and if you can help me out. Im new to the 240 scene, but a old member of the MR2 scene. Thanks~

Let the engine idle and spray some WD-40 around your injectors at the points where they meet the intake. If the engine bogs when you do this, then you need to replace the rubber rings that sit between the fuel rail and the intake. You can find injector seal kits for our cars at parts stores.
For the Altima at least they include two O-rings for the injector, the rubber ring mentioned above, and the little rubber grommet that goes between the injector cap and the injector.
