compression test

What should be the correct reading of a stock 89 240sx engine in a compression test.

Minimum is 142 psi. Standard is at 192 psi. Difference limit between cylinders should be no more than 14 psi. Hope this helps.

Hot....FSM says to warm up the engine before testing compression.

most definately have your engine at normal running temperature when testing to have most accurate results. Not after a long ride or just after you turned it on.
