Crank Question

I have a huge question and it might seem stupid to many But I need to kno asap.I spun a rod bearing in my 240 well I ripped it apart And replaced all my rod bearings. my crank wasnt dug up or scratched at all on the cylinder that spun the bearing but It was a little diffrent in color wasnt as shiny but wasnt to bad.And it wasnt as smooth but wasnt real rough.Does any vone kno if I can possibly squeeze by without buying a crank? Has any one had this problem before or spun a rod bearing please Post back because I have my tranny off to replacing the clutch and flywheel and I dont wanna put my suspension and bottom end together and tranny on and start my motor up and spin the bearing I put on...then that means the tranny has to come back off and the oil pan and replace the crank...thank you all very much any Info will be greatly appreciated.Im living on hopes crossed fingers and prayers.

It sounds like you want piece of Mind so just take the Crank out and have a Machine Shop check it out for you. Shouldn't cost much at all.
