i just cut those 2 wires going to that button. I then stripped em and connected em. Fixed my pedal button problem!

it seems to be more common than I thought. stanbo says his is missing too off the Koop. the rubber bushing/plunger thing right?
find one at a junkyard and yoke it up or call a GOOD nissan dealer and try to find one (good luck, even though i have never tried) and for splicing the wires BAD IDEA if you forget to take it out of gear, it will start to move when you crank it over. might want to installl a button on the dash at least. just my 2 cents

my friends corolla can be started in gear... the car lunges forward (usually hitting something) and then dies out.

just splice the wires its alot eaiser any one who knows how to drive a stick knows to either put the clutch in or put it in neutral. and if they dont know how to drive a stick they shouldent be in the drivers seat
