Question E or DE can I?

89 with KA24E it's no good, can I replace it with a DE any year or do I have to stick with an E? I just want to plug it in and go. Very few motors at the junkyards around here. Found out how they cooked the engine the radiator drain plug is missing. almost got the motor out.

Its not that tough, do a lil moding to the power steering and wiring i think and it should be good to go. The KA24E isnt that bad....

not a straight drop in, there are a few things you need to do, searching will tell you the full answer. Like power steering lines, ecu, etc

Easier to just drop in another E dude, i have one if you need it, lol.

How much for the E Motor? I live in Georgia long way shipping could cost more than the Motor. Thanks for the advice and I'm going to stick with the E Motor.

I'd let you have it for $100 plus shipping if you want, it's got like 105K, and my buddy said it ran real well, he drove it for a week or so before he pulled the engine for a swap.
I'd probably be like 175 shipped without the tranny.

Email me at mango_two@yahoo.com so I can get in touch with you. Does the Engine come with Intake or Exhaust manifolds.
