Unhappy Fuel Injector Install

I just installed 2 new injectors (middle ones) on my '89 240 - seemed simple enough but I cant seem to get the car started again - I am by no means a mechanic so I am at a loss.

There was a device on top of the rail I disconnect in order to get the rail off - seemed like a vacumm guage - and I noticed the lower hose (there was one hose on the bottom and two on the top that came out in a 'V' formation - I went out an bought a new hose and reconnected everything the same way it was

But, do I need to establish pressure in the fule system again? I know I released the pressue when I started but it doesn't say if I have to reset it to where it was. Help!!

Thanks.

my guess about the rough idle would be that you are running a little lean in the lower rpms, not sure how to fix it if in fact that is the problem tho...

fuel pressure

to get fuel pressure back you just turn ignition on a few times and then you can crank the engine and it should start. well you should look for fuel leaks before you crank the engine. just in case you have to depresurize again.

Question, could it be I am only running on 3 cylinders? Maybe I didnt connect an injector properly. Is this possible? I connected them al before placing them back in the rail and use the locking pin - except for one - I dropped it and I couldn't find it so I used twist tie wire to lock it it in - I changed the plugs as well after this happned thinking they may be old - they didnt seem that old but it only cost $10 to do so I did it - I may adjust the idle but I have a feeling it isnt that - thanks though

idle

well if you were running on 3 it would be really rough and get worst when the rpm incresses so thats probably not your problem. it could be a clogged injector or fuel filter. if you haven't changed the fuel filter for a long time that might help.
