Fuel Injectors

I have been a member of this site for awhile most of the questions I had have been allready answered. I drive a 92 240 stock KA24DE with 230,000 and am having a issue with what it seems like once a week my injectors stop working. Example 3 weeks ago lost 1st cylinder so replaced 1st injector car runs great. 2 weeks ago it was 4th cylinder repeated process and runs fine. I was driving yesterday and guess what now I lost the 3rd cylinder. Is there away to attempt to clean these or even check them? I do have a good job but with a house payment and lots of bills I was hopeing for a quick fix. I appreciate any suggestions or just a simple go replace because the 2nd is going to go bad too! thx for any help

many diesel repair shops also clean gasoline injectors, if you want to have them cleaned that's where i recommend you take them. the only way i know test injectors is to check the resistance if they are not opening, if they are i then check to see if the fuel is a mist or not.

i find it odd that the injectors are failing the way they are, there has to be something causing them to fail prematurely. i'm interested in knowing what lead you to believe the injectors were bad, and what you did to test then before you replaced them.

Your coils on the injectors are fried man. Don't waste your money cleaning them. Buy new ones. Better yet your engine is high mileage, get a new one.
