search for bad gas mileage

02 sensor is the biggest thing by far, replace that
fuel filter
spark plugs, wires, seafoam, etc

searching will find you the complete answer.

yeah, fuel injector cleaner can help.

you can either buy a direct fit o2 sensor for like $38 bucks, or you can buy a generic one that you'll need to make clips and cut the single wire, which is easy, and it's only like $19. Both are the exact same brand and evertything, only difference is the connector.

cleaning your injectors can be a good idea, most people use stp or one of those products however nissan actually put out a statement not to use these products they said that they corrode the injectors, ill see if i can find the article

Well yesterday I bought some Denso spark plugs alot of people in the store where like "they are just as good as NGK trust me" because they didnt carry NGK. I also picked up a bosch oxygen sensor the universal one cost like 22.99 it was hella easy i jus had to clip it and strip it. I dont drive my car that much because I only have my permit but I got better response and yes I did gap my plugs so dont worry.

Nippondenso plugs are good... comparable to NGK for the most part. The Iridium plugs are awesome IMO if you want some better mileage

Doc WTF was seafoam again? I know I asked this before... or did I?

Gas Mileage

If you want performance you can't complain. Performance and good gas mileage don't mix. My winter car (1991 Buick Lesabre) 3.8 liter v6 kills my 1990 240 sx when it comes to mileage. My 240 sx couldn't even come close to getting the mileage my Buick get's . My 3.8 L v6 Buick gets twice as good mileage then my 2.4 L 240SX gets. My 240 SX has the worse gas mileage I have ever seen from a 4 cylinder but when you start doing performance work to a car you can't expect the gas mileage to stay the same.

intake and exhaust will not increase HP, some people do see a little increase, however thats from a less restrictive air flow due to stock internals. that and with an intake and ecxuast people accelerate quicker and shift generally at higher rpm's.
