hi again
ok i went to check the valves clearences today and when i put the engine on tdc i noticed the cam chain is not on its marks again so i turned it over to see if it was off 360 but still no line up
what could cause this?
i think this is wha is causing my knock lol there is alot of clearence between all valves when it is like that
the chain is tight though
i dont understand

Its not what is causing your knock you have to turn it several times to line up the top chain. what kind of knock are you getting?
I had the same problem and I to thought it was a lifter but it was'nt . It was that my oil pan had gotten dented up far enough to stop the oil from getting to the rod bering and I was lucky not to spin a bering, I pulled the pan and changed the berings then beat the oil pan back in to shape and viola no more knocking. hope this helps.
