The ebay one is not, i repeat NOT a cat. Its just a test pipe. The cat from xat is the one your looking for.

Thank you for educating myself . I knew that ebay dude was up to something.

Do I need that test pipe as well?

If I was going to install Hot Shot headres and a high flow cat from the xat site, is there anything else that I need for the installation?

I appreciate all your help man... I will post pics as soon as I get it

test pipe is only A short piece of exhaust pipe that's designed to replace a catalytic converter in an exhaust system. And in some states its illegal to have em, so if your caught with one u will get ticketed. You shouldnt need anything else, everything should be A okand no prob

a test pipe is jus a pipe that go in the place of the catalytic converter

so u will have a test pipe instead of a cat one or the other not both
it is more free flowin than a high flow cat since there will be no pressure built up from a catalytic converter, it will give u more power, but it will smell like gas and is illegal and i heard in cali its a $5,000-$10,000 fine because the catalytic converter is used to "filter"(if u wanna use this word) excess gas that was not completly burned so your car will not pollute the air as much

Cats "burn"excess gas, not really filter it.

its a chemistry thing
catalyst is a substance that makes a chemical reaction react more quickly and i guess it does "burn" it since thats the reaction that should occur and so when its burned its cleaner than jus gas comin out of ur exhaust, therefore safer for the enviroment
