Hotshot Header question for S13 KA24DE

I've been shopping for a used Hotshot header and I've read there are several versions out there. The one pictured on the Hotshot website has the #4 runner going under #3 but over #2. I've seen pictures of 2 other used headers described as Hotshots. They both had the #4 runner going over #3 & #2 before connecting to #1. One had individual manifold flanges for each runner and the other had a common flange for all four runners. I've read that the older version had a 2.5" collector and that the latest version has a 2.25" collector. I'd like to get a narrative on the different versions to help determine the originals from the knock-offs.

I'm building a car for D-street prepared autocross. Intake, exhaust & engine management are open but engine internals must remain stock. I don't want to kill low end torque so I plan on going with a 2.5" (max) exhaust and I'm curious which version of Hotshot would work best for my application.

Thanks!

From what I know the only knock off is OBX and it looks like it has a crap load of welds. If you are shopping used you are gonna have to pretty much get whatever you get your hands on, I think there are 3 versions of the hot shot's. 1 is a 4-1 header, the other 2 are the 4-2-1 that you mentioned.

If you don't want to kill your torque why don't you get a DC sports header?

And as for autocrossing, stock 240's (all years) are in D class (DS). But when they move into Street Prepared they are in C class (CSP). I know cause I'm in it.

Someone's pulling your chain good sir! All years of 240sx are in G-stock (page 167 of the rulebook) and D-street prepared (page 176 of the rulebook);

Oh yeah, now I remember! I was in DSP but since I was the only one in it they moved me to CSP.
