IACV-AAC Valve location, s14

My 96 is throwing a code 25 which is the Idle air control valve (IACV) - Auxiliary Air Control (AAC) Valve.

I hear tell that I may be able to clean it if it is sticking. I'm kind of hoping for that because I am broke as hell right now.

Can anyone help me locate this part so I can check the vacuum lines? The only thing I can find close is under the intake head and It looks like I would have to dismantle alot before I could get to it.

I have searched around and it seems pretty common for one of these to go out so if anyone has changed one on a s14 before please let me know any tips you might have.

Forgot to mention symptoms: 96 ka24de idle is fine until it warms up then drops the rpm's to 7.5 and I can feel a little miss. Just idles a little rough. It's not real rough but I can feel it. Turning the A/C on brings the rpm's to about 1000 or a little over and that smoothes out the idle. Sometimes when I come to a stop at a light the idle sticks about 1500 rpm sometimes it does not. Now it is throwing a code 25. Everything is stock except intake (AEM) and exhaust (magnaflow/flowmaster).

I found some info just in case someone else is looking:

Looks like it is going to be a pain in the *** to get to. There is so much going on on top of the intake manifold that I am afraid to try taking it off myself.

First I'm going to try (and have been for two days now) to get my girlfriend to put her small hands in there. If I can talk her into helping we may be able to take it off without taking off the manifold... But probably not.

I've never taken apart the intake manifold but at 116k miles I'm sure it could stand to be cleaned out. I'm also kind of intimidated by all the stuff I will have to unhook to take the top part of the manifold off... Like I said, never done that before...

Any pointers or suggestions?
