Allright so basically my 3rd injector went out (again). Now I try and take the injector out like usual and it decides to be a ***** and not want to come out. I've tried releasing the fuel pressure through the gas cap and also the fuel pump fuse taken out but it still wont budge. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've tried this method before and it came out but now it just wants to stay. And on top of that I beat the crap outta the top of the injector.... wonderful. Anyways, any ideas?

 

might be too late but wd40 and a vise grip worked for me when i had to change mine. looks like you have to remove the fuel rail and push it out as documented in the FSM

 

it should come out of the bottem as it is a side feed injector... the fuel rail has to come off and the injector goes out that way...
