Fuel injector problem help....

well couple day's ago my engine light was on and my idle starts to fluctuate between 600rpm to 900rpm. since I am having finals exam I had no time to deal with it so I ignored. then I found that my gas millage drop from 24mpg to 18mpg. so I check the ECU and read the code from the LED. The code read 4 greed flash and 5 red flash (I am having a KA24E, donno if it different to KA24DE) which meant fuel injector leak I believe. but the problem is that I don't so any leak on the intake manifold. Does fuel injector leak means leak onto the intake manifold or inside? I have change my fuel injector three years ago right after I bought this car used. Can't believe they worn so fast and I have only drove around 38000 miles for these years. So did I read the code right? cuz the chilton manual and the FSM (I only have FSM for 91 but my car is a 90) say different thing. someone please help.

the injector can leak inside of the motor or it can leak outside onto the motor... depending on what kind of injectors you bought (new or rebuilt) there could be one bad... i dont know the codes for the 90 240... but if your manuals say it is a bad injector then remove them and check...
