Inst Cluster/HUD elec prob?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Car: 92' 240sx Coupe SE

Prob: HUD, Cluster digi speedo, and cluster backlighting not working when car is cold.

Symptoms: When car is cold (like in the morning) the HUD and dash speedos dont work as well as the dash lights, when the air temp gets higher outside (afternoon, or if the car runs for a bit) the speedos and the dash lights come back on.

I originally thought the prob was with the speed sensor since it involved the speedos not working, however, I noticed the other night that the backlighting in the intrament cluster also is experiencing the same prob and comes on and goes off with the speedos. I now suspect that it may be an electrical problem concerning the instrament cluster, anyone have any ideas about where I should look?

It has something to do with some resistor on the cluster, I will see if I can find the info on it.
