Smile itb's finished

im starting this new thread, as i finally finished the itb's and started installing them yesterday and working out all the final little problems.......basically how everything will fit in the engine bay.worked all day yesterday, and all day today, and here's what it looks like so far. remaining- hook up the tps, tighten throttle cable, put cacuum canister on, and tighten all hoseclamps. I cant believe its finally done; some of you may remember i started this back in august! LOTS of custom work and fabrication...rate this as an 10 on a beginner/advanced scale of 1-10, 1 being easy, not recommended for the faint of heart!
ill have better pics as soon as i go to my friends house, these are from my camera phone.
vids/sound clips coming too.
could i get anyone to host them?

finished now
still need to adjust the tps a bit, there is a slight bog on tip in. had to modify the hood a bit to fit my plenum......i made it a bit too tall oh well....it is faster by the butt dyno, havent done any highway runs yet just 1st and second gear, but the power surge found on ka24de's at 4000rpm is gone, its just smooth power, coming on good at about 3000, pulls harder towards redline too. funny thing.....it is quiet!! it is prabably due to the plenum i made, its thick fiberglass and soaks up the resonation. but it is seriously quiet......almost like a stock intake box it seems, ill have to get a video from outside the car to be sure though. throttle response is insane, and it snaps when you let off the throttle, because there is no residual air volume behind the tb's. thats just initial driving impressions....ill hopefully have a vid and more experience behind the wheel by the end of the week.

mass production? hahahah.......maybe if i had a factory already setup....
100$ gsxr1000 itb's
40$ crappy ebay velocity stacks
stock manifold to hack up for itb's- traded for my crappy kyb shocks and some cut aftermarket springs, realistically costs about 100$ shipped
vacuum canister, lines, hoseclamps, fiberglass for plenum
prabably nearly 100$ from home depot.
thats about 340$+
add in 3 days install time working out fiddly details, and 2 months prep time (measuring and making fiberglass plenum, and gathering all required parts) for a total of prabably 100hours.....at 10 an hour-1000$ man i owe myself a lot of money!!
im still working out details......dont like the seal on my plenum, trying to figure out a better setup!
although if somebody offered me enough money....i might be willing to part with them. ive been wanting to try a remote mounted throttlebody setup for awhile
