ka-e pistons

whats the comp rate on the single cam ka pistons??how good are the oem ka-e pistons compared to after market pistons??

9:1:1 and they are fine unless you are going high HP

Compression ratio: 8.6:1 (9.1:1 for early 1989 240SX )

yeah, but i read that the chamber for the E head is alot bigger than a DE head. so the 'taller' E pistons is a cheap alternative for higher compression for us folks with a dohc motor, atleast thats what ive read. anybody else with personal experience care to verify this?

yea ive heard about the E pistons going into the DE block for higher compression but i also head it tears up your motor?

Higher compression puts more strain on the motor if thats what u mean

lol, i guess that why. the motors not meant to run on high compression.

yea yall are right it does raise the compression, but i havent really heard of very many of the motors lasting...but there are some new pistons due to be released if not already that are like 11:1 comp made for the dual cam

je makes 11.1 pistons for the de motor...i was thinkin about gettin thoughs and some ams rods
