KA24E Torque

Hey people. I'm still a novice when it comes to the 240SX, but I was hoping I can get some help with an idea I have for my car. I've got a 90 240sx coupe with a KA24E motor. I know alot of the guys on here would say to swap it for a DOHC motor, but there aren't any available where I'm at and I don't have the money to buy one online and have it shipped here, or for an SR20DET. What I'm looking to do is increase the car's torque and make it respond better. Any ideas?

Make sure your car is in good running condition first. If you haven't done a tune up in awhile, then start with that. Check to see if anything needs to be repaired or replaced. After you get that all squared away, you could start off with IHE (intake, header, exhaust) and go from there.
