Question little question

hey how is it going everyone. new member here. ive got a 93 240sx ka24de and ive got a simple question. i have an ansawer but its kinda extreme. thought id check for some feed back. soooooo i went to take off my valve coveer off to replace a couple of items and the front two top bolts just spinnnnnnnnnn. any thoughts??? i kinda think ill have to just cut them off and replace them. also just put a custom intake (alumminum piping and silicone couplers) on the stock intake pass. side there is a hose connection under the stock hose. it leads to what appears to be the lower fan shroud . do i need to connect this or can i remove it. my goal is to remove as much of the clutter that i can.thanx

The intake hose connection running down the left (from the front of the car) side goes to a resonator. Look at it from under the car and you should be able to see it. Take it out it's useless.
