n/a in the 13's?

how much money?
naturally aspirated ofcourse!!
is there a website with the info on this?
and before yall say "go search" i did... and i cant find timeslips nor dyno's

2500 LBS @270 Hp = app. 13 Sec
FYI This is theoretical, there are many variables in this calculation: driving ability/style, friction (air and parts of the drive train like transmission type and clutch type bearings and differential), Temperature (of the vehicle and ambient temperature as well as track temperature), road traction, even the fluids in your car can make a difference.
N/A 13 sec in the 2.4L is gonna be tough and expencive, good luck.
Also your car would have to be like 1850 Lbs for 200 Hp to get you into the 13s. Like a Lotis Elise.

lotus's run low 13's... im just talkin' about breakin' into the 13's
ive heard lotus's run 13.2's... with ~160rwhp
since we are basing this off theroys (every +/- 100lbs is +/- .1 seconds)... if the lotus weighed as much as a 240 (~2550) it would run a 13.9...
so if the 240 had 40 more rwhp... basing off of theroys again (every 10rwhp is .1 seconds)... it would run .4 seconds faster... putting it at a 13.5
see why i dont like theroys?
is there anyone with about 190rwhp and has some time slips?

I dont have any slips, but most of the 240's i have seen in the 13s have been turbo.
Here is a link to one running 13.8 @ 230 HP.
http://www.**********/links/installs/...0/feature2.htm
Here is another running 13.7 @ 280 HP.

Cheapest route to hit 13's.
100shot of progressive NOS, and an ECU tune.
Full exhaust system that means a high flow cat too
Aluminum flywheel
Crower V series cams, or Jim wolfe tech cams
For the 240sx it will take a little under 250~280 in HP, depending on where the engine is making power in the power band. You will need to get good at shifting, you will need a good LSD(not VLSD) Get some good z rated tires your gonna need em. Defenitely a stage 3 clutch system.
You will be looking at about $2500 in parts not including labor, that is as cheap as it gets for NOS.
It will cost about $3700 if you want it turbo charged.

lol... well im not asking for their setup... i just want to know how much power took them into the 13's
hmmm... Vinnie... if you dont mind me asking... how much power do you think you're gonna make?... or how much have you made? and what times do you think you'll run?
lol
just wondering!!!

Well right now I'm working on a smogable cali setup hopefully to make 210~220CHP on high Compression pistons, head porting work, cams and an ecu tune. I'm actually learning this new ecu tunning called Mega Biki Rom. It turns your OEM ecu into a retunable ecu (kinda like a standalone accept it cost $300) so I can save some cash over an already rich tune, not even worth what you pay JWT tunes.
I've been R&D'in this prioject for a year.
2 years ago a buddy of mine and myself swapped a KA into a 510, we said fu%k it and didn't want to spend a boat load of money on the bucket, so it was a easy 100shot of NOS and a slight retarding of the distributor. The car hit mid 13's on the track, but it was never dyno tested. The car like most older 510's with no proper locks was stolen. It was found a few weeks later in ghetto a$$ pitsburg stripped down to nothing.
I've helped friends out through out the years with there KA's.
So I do have a bit of experience with KA through the years. I prefer N/A and if it is going to be N/A it needs a good displacement to make suitable power.
Hopefully I will be able to sell some parts that I come accross for you guy's in the forums, so I am trying to establish a good rep...
I like N/A especially with the way gas prices are going.

I'm all N/A right now. I'm throwing out about 170 WHP, but I don't know any of my times. If I had to guess I'd say around mid 15s, but that is an uneducated guess. I have about $500 to $600 in my car so far. The thing that hurts me is my car's weight: 3046 LBS with me and about 1/2 tank gas.
I do plan on going turbo on the KA though.
Oh yeah the other thing that hurts me is that dumb automatic transmission.
