need full exhaust from headers to CAT

ok, so i just got my 1990 240 about 2 weeks ago and have had no problems with it but now the mid pipe cracked in a few places and all the piping from the headers to the CAT need to be replaced even tho they were just replaced about a month ago from the 1st owner. i found headers and everything but i can seem to get ahold of the mid-pipe. and yes i have searched. does this have to be custom made or is their any place out their that sells it. thanks.

If you have an aftermarket header, get a cat, and a catback exhaust and you should be set

after the headers theirs like a one foot pipe going from the flange at the bottom of the headers to the CAT. that is what broke. i ordered an HKS hi-power cat back and a new CAT but havent ordered headers yer because i dont know if the piping will go stright to the CAT. will after market headers lead right down to the CAT?? if not that little pipe inbetween the headers and cat is what i need.

Most aftermarket headers will replace all of that and go directly to the cat

ok, i serched for some pics and found out how its set up. i got the one pipe rewelded to hold off untill i get the headers but its about to crack again at the welds. theirs no hangers at all on the headers just after the CAT. could this be causing the pipe to keep breaking?? i just wanna find out why it keeps breaking before i put on a set of $400 headers and then have them break on me too.

Maybe the engine needs new engine mounts? If the header bangs up along the fire wall they are known to crack. Replace the mounts, then purchase a good header like DC sports or HOT SHOTS, direct fit headers with no problems.
High flow cat like magna flow, or CATCO high flow.
