Need Some Advice For Overheating Problem & Engine Running Very Sluggish

Guys, I need some of your expert advice on this. My car have the 2.4L SOHC engine. It just keep on overheating. The fan is working. I flushed the radiator. Replaced the thermostat. The engine is still overheating whether I'm driving on local, highway, with, or without turning on the A/C.

Also the engine can be very sluggish. Sometimes even when I hit the gas at full throttle, the car just don't want to go as if like the asphalt full of glue or something I already did a tune up on my car & it's still like that. It doesn't feel my auto tranny problem though. It doesn't skip gear. Actually the tranny still shift pretty smoothly.

I was thinking about replacing the fuel filter. What do you guys think of it? Where is the fuel filter located for the 89 S13?

Any advice from you guys would be really appreciated. Thanks a lot guys

Is your water pump working? Also sounds like it could be a blown headgasket...

Yea, I'm gonna check on the water pump. I didn't check or change it yet.

The thing about head gasket, I didn't lose any coolant though. Not even a little bit.

Thanks for your fast reply
