i took a closer look at the venom injectors and they are stock injectors. shockandspring on ebay sold them to me. they sent them in a pretty venom box, im tring to get my money back now. but my car is on the road again. i got real venom injectors this time that flow 10% more fuel. they make a big differance on on reving and acceleration on my car. the rpms climb fast. good investment.

it all depends on how you drive it. (hp = gas) it is using more gas then before because i just got the car back from a total rebuild, including a new head and p&p, and being bored out to a 89.5 with cp pistons and crower rods, and brought the compression ratio up to a 9.0. and a lot of other crap. so i think all of that contributed to more gas, but im glad i did. that engine is so much better than it was. but anyone that is doing a rebuild it is worth the extra money ($200) to balance all your engine parts including the crank. the car idles and rides so smooth.

parts: 89.5 cp forged pistons $500
crower rods $700
cometic head gasket $120
new head with all new parts, ebay $350
port and polish, free
timing kit, ebay $100
oil pump, ebay $60
arp head bolts, ebay $130
clutch master 6 puck clutch , ebay $350
venom injectors $300
new distributor $170
gaskets $60
miscellaneous parts they got $200 total = $3040

machine shop work: boring cylinders, shaving warped block $500
balancing engine parts, and clutch and flywheel $200
shaving pistons down because compression was to high
with milled head and shaved block
and testing $250 total = $950

work done by repair shop: replaced all vacuum lines, removed ac system, install injectors(so i can get my money back for the other ones) weld on a new end to the egr, install new clutch and flywheel, assembling and disassembling engine, removing engine and installing it. install new distributor, oil and antifreeze change total = $1500

grand total = $5490

it took me a year to buy all the parts. the car has so much more power than before. the rpms, and speed shoot up so quick now. i have a bunch of bolt ons and a nx 75 shot, but still cant use it yet, because im still breaking in the engine. i did this rebuild for a turbo with high boost, and convert my nx kit to an intercooler spray. thats my next project. i know its a lot of money, and a swap would be cheaper, but my ka will handle a lot of power now. i wanted to keep the engine that went with the car, in the car. and i wanted to do somthing everyone else isnt doing. i still lack cams, titanium retainers, and springs. they told my it would take 2 weeks to do the job and it took almost 4 months because they kept puting my car on the back burner. thats why i got the labor so cheep.
