yeah that digi camo VC is bad ***..... and i didn't paint "around" the stickers, i masked off the AEM (it's a raised "embelem" with double sided tape), and masked over the CARB sticker...

painting them is cool and all, but why?

i painted my intake cause the polish was fading, had stains and scrapes and what have you, just to kinda freshen up the engine bay.... and the money used on the paint was when i did my brakes and painted my calipers, it was just left over from when i still had a job...... so freebee... and i have no money, so instead of doing HP upgrades like piecing my turbo set up together, i'm just tinkering with what i have... doing a bit of cleaning, rebuild stuff that prob doesn't need it but good to learn... stuff like that... but yeah, the outside looks awsome and is just about complete... so why not clean up and make the engine bay a bit shiny to match??? especially when i have the can of high temp paint laying around.... better than nothing, or it looking grungy and ****aki....

well guys, most recent purchase is a S14 grill, and the ****e is DOPESAUCE... i love it.... here's some pics...

Before, even before the brand spankin new fog lights...

and AFTER!!!! mind the dirty car, i did a bit of off roading last night...

i know some of you may not like to do the who Silvia stuff on your cars cause, well, it's not a Silvia, but you must agree, that out of all the Zenki grills, maybe the 96, that the Silvia ones style is just through the roof...

also coming in the mail is my 3" cat back from eBay, it will be replacing my 2.25" cat back that was made at a muffler shop with my welded on $2.99 eBay muffler... the 3" cat back has a resonator, unlike my current set up which is waaaay too loud (is basically straight pipe)... so hope fully this new cat back that's due at my door on the 21st of this month will be a lot quieter, smoother sounding (my mix matched exhaust sound like a Honda/dirt bike mix on steroids.... so let me know what ya think guys!!!!!!

you're probably going to have to remove the fog lights to fit intercooler piping...

yeah, i've heard about the fog lights needing to me removed, or relocated... but for now I'm not too worried about it cause it's going to take me forever and a day to get to that point, and at that time, i'll figure it out.....

as far as more pics of the fog lights, i'll be doing another "batter" of pics here in a bit, i wanted to clean my car up for some nice "hard parking" shots with the new grill... kinda cruddy how every other week i have to take new pics cause I'm always doing something to that car lol

i'll get some good shots tomorrow, going to hit up some industrial place, or the place thats in my sig, it's a place in town called butler plaza... it's like a strip mall, with over 150 stores, not like an oulet mall though, more like wal mart, target, publix (local big chain of grocery stores) a lowes, etc... the whole "strip" faces the main road, leaving all the back stuff exposed to the back road that cuts behind and connects all the stores etc.... pretty cool place, but i've already got shots that came out of there....

also, one thing i like about my fogs, is i had to relocate them outward... so they have a wider, someone more agressive look... not as narrow eyed as the OE placements... and drilling for the mounting holes is a pain in the A$$ in the bumper reinforcement... UGH.... more pics tomorrow, so stay tuned....

also guys, my REAL (not muffler shop 2.25" and $2.99 ebay muffler), my real 3" cat back with resonator should be in on Tuesday... so yahoooooo!

*and in case you're wondering about all the "hard parking" shots, and no real racing or drifting shots is cause I'm currently (and for the next two years), driving on a hardship license, and on State probation and i don't want to risk losing it, or violating my probation doing something stupid on the streets, and the nearest place to drift is in Orlando, and that's a 2hr drive from my house, and NOT a "business purpose"...kinda risky to drive there... so yeah, kinda just building, cleaning, and appearance mods for a while... well, we do have a road course here in town, but it's not open for "events" or "test and tune" anymore for some odd reason, and it cost up to $1800 a day to rent it. a local road course club in town rents it and charges general public a $100 admission fee for all day, but i don't have that kinda $$ sitting around... they have a drag strip, but due to recent 1/4 times being for naught, i refuse to go till i get a hair dryer on my baby
