no power
okay i had this problem a few days ago with my 240, the car hasnt been started for along time, and when started, it wouldnt go over 2.5k rpm.
injector cleaner, and i forgot what else i did, maybe a new maf, rev it for a bit, let it idle. then next day it should be fine. you might not need a new maf, but you never know.
just do a tune up yourself on the car, cover all bases.

My first recommendation is to check your ignition timing.
My second recommendation is to first check for a vacuum leak. Let the engine idle and spray some carburetor cleaner or WD-40 in the following places:
Around the injector seals
Where the intake manifold meets the cylinder head
Where the throttle body mounts to the manifold
Vacuum tubes...spray them lightly from end to end
The holes that the AIV was connected to...assuming you plugged them with something.
If the engine bogs down or stalls when you spray something, then you have a vacuum leak. If the injector seals are the culprit, buy some new ones(I paid about $30 for all four sets) and change them.
If it bogs when you spray the manifold, then you've probably got a bad gasket.
If a vacuum tube is a problem, replace the vacuum tube. No need to ask for a specific one. Just get some vacuum tube stock of the right diameter, cut to length and replace.
