o2 sensor

o2 sensor

how many o2 sensors does my 93 motor have?? i saw one on the exhaust manifold but are there any other hiding?? and what can i use to clog the hole if i were to take out the 02 sensor?

There is only one from what I see in the FSM. I don't know what you would use to cover it. Are you just covering it so you can do some repairs or are you plugging it permanently?

If permanent then just get a plug from a plumbing supply that is the same size.

ECU will go crazy and you will eventually foul up the plugs and have to continually change the plugs. Will the car even work properly without the 02 sensor?

Jonas I drive with the Techtom reading the fuel mixture. You would be suprised how much that thing changes. I have seen what and where it likes to run LEAN/RICH. I really don't think you want to take that sensor out of the loop.

There are too many other systems that imput into it and depend on it.

You will foul something up. Cat will be ruined. On and on.
