Problems with 93 S13

We are having issues with a friends S13. Shortly after getting the car it started having overheating problems (big surprise) and blew up the upper radiator hose. We replaced the hose and got the car home, but it was still overheating. We replaced the thermostat and the water pump and noticed the car STILL overheated so we did a little research on the 240 boards. I came here and discovered the overheating FAQ and realized we hadnt been bleeding the system correctly, but upon attempting to open the bleeder screw, I discovered it was rusted shut when it broke off as soon as I attempted to turn it. Now the problem is that we cannot bleed the cooling system correctly and we still have the overheating problem. I have looked around for a replacement intake manifold for the car, but reliable info on the KA seems to be rather hard to find. I dont really wanna try to drill out the bleeder screw b/c I think that would just be more trouble than it is worth. I would like to replace the intake manifold and try to figure out where the overheating problem is coming from, if anyone can help out then PLEASE, PLEASE do.

Could be the radiator, he is probably gonna buy a Koyo radiator. It isn't the water pump, we replaced that already.
