yesterday i started my car and it would idle at 1700rpms for 2 min around then it would drop rpms to around 400-500rpm then just die. i would have to keep it reved up to 2000rpm for 5 minutes and it would run ok.

so today i go out to go to school get in my car put my key in turned it and nothing absolutely nothing not even a turn over.....

just a few minutes ago i tried to jump start it...we left the cables on for 5-10 minutes and tried again....still nothing

any ideas???

really appreciate help

thanks

check to see if you are getting spark to the spark plugs. check your ground wires.

i havent tried push starting it yet we put a battery charger on it last night and it was completely dead so it may still just be the battery but i have a hunch my alternator isnt working and also yesterday my dad found the wire to the fan unplugged

lol no leaks but im almost positive the battery is just fryed because i started it up today after letting it charge for 15 hours so its not spark plugs or anything but for how long i charged it, it should have been a full battery but it was only half way charged

i got a new battery and im going to put it in today

ill keep ya posted

ok new problem....im driving and i shift then i press on the gas and like 10 seconds later it start to shake like a person who lets the clutch out to fast or....like im pressing on and off the gas repeatedly(hopefully those examples help)

....the only way it fixes is when i slam the pedal to the floor it takes a few seocnds to stop shaking or wait out the shaking till its in higher rpms, or let off the gas

....what could be causing this

p.s. its not my shifting

as long as thers no cuts after the filter its fine...lots of people cut holes/remove pieces for "performance"

but yea put a pit up of the intake/vacuum hoses and well tell ya if things need to be changed
