i just read the one about buying a s14 and unfortunatley s14's are out of my price range but i'm hopin to buy a s13 in the next couple months so if anyone could provide any possible problem areas when buyin one that isn't listed in the s14 guidee

Dude, It really depends what part of the country the vehicle is comming from. I have one from Ohio and my wife has one from Arizona... rust or sunfade/high milage pick your poison. Plus I am a firm believer that most of the time you pay for what you get.
