my seedometer hasnt worked for a while now. i replaced the speed sensor, and the dash cluster, and still nothing. everything else works including the rpms but the mph doesnt. could it be the sensors on the tranny? thanks

Time to read up on the FSM. It's only two wires from the tranny to the speedo cluster and ecu.

click on the fsm link. It's a better manual than the chiltons. But Chiltons should show you that the 2 wires. If your cel is not on then it is receiving a signal. Since your speedo gauge is not reading then follow then wires from the back of the gauage and check continuity to the ecu.

you should go to the supermarket and buy some pop corn, that should fix your "seedometer". But anyways, the signal goes to the Speedometer first then to the ECU. May its your speed sensor.

you're actually right. the "seedometer" isn't reading anything because it needs some popcorn to pop. It's telling you that it's empty.
