as some of you know...
as some of you know already i am rebuilding my ka back to stock because i blew up my rod bearings in cylinder 2. today i installed the new main bearings, new crankshaft, replaced my rod bearings with new ones.. replaced my rings.. I am having a lot of problems getting piston into cyliner 2. I done all my others juist with the piston ring compresser and cylinder 2 is being a dick! what would be wrong? my guess is when my rod bearings went on cylinder 2 that the rod is weak but it doesn't seem it to me so i dont know.. my guess 2 is that piston is bad. Can anyone help me out? thanks

did u remove the ridge at the top of the cylinder ..(i know its kinda a given if u do piston work to do so but if you dont remove it it can cause problems installing and removing pistons)
also make sure all that all of your rings are in the grooves properly and not overlapped, mainly oil rings and expander.
alright i'll give it another shot! like i said all my others went in no problems its just cylinder 2.
also like devious said check the grooves iif there carbon buildup you missed it might not be allowing the rings to seat properly..if you still cant fit it in there check to see if they gave you the right rings..(scratch this if your reusing the old ones)

It's cool now.. I got it in the next day on the second try. I guess I just got too annoyed and tired with it. LOL but no problems with it on day 2
