Anyone know where the speed sensor is located or under what catagory would it fall under in the factory service manual?

Na, I need to replace it, my speedometer will be working fine then it will start jumping around then eventually die. This goes on and off all day. I have replaced my instrument panel 3 times from failed attempts at putting on glow gauges and it does this with every single one so I know its not the cluster.

where exactly??

Hey I have the same problem where exactly is the sensor and how do you remove it or fix it.

My speedometer is off by like plus 10mph so I am putting more miles on my car then I am really driving. And it gets annoying when I tack-out at 100 mph and the speedometer is to the max.

Help I need to go over 100mph!!!!

It runs right into the side of the tranny and runs into a wirring harness. Not hard to find you can clearly see it when your car is jacked up. You can check out advanceautoparts.com as well the have a picture of it so you will know what it looks like.
