Might be wrong, but to my knowledge.....no company has ever made one for the 240.... That'd be a lot of torque.... :-)

That'd be so deadly. It'd unseat its own tires. Imagine the power!!! Mwahahaha. That's sick.

probably wouldn't be all that tough with a centrifugal charger, custom bracket and piping. i dont have a/c to worry about but if you did that'd probably have to go in the trash and if your engine had a distributer you may have to convert to dis. clearence for the charger may be tough with the distributor. i may do it but since i have a sohc right now, i will convert to dohc first. i auto x'd a friends mazda speed protege a few weeks ago, all i got to say is turbo lag sux on short courses.

Do those $19.95 "Superchargers" in the magazine ads count?

I can't believe people actually buy those things

I understand those words...but not how they fit together and end up costing $10...I probably shouldn't be posting when I'm this tired.

And why is this thread in the N/A forum?

Screw it...I give up.

no they dont work, homemadeturbo.com did a test and they said it restricts air more than anything, lol smokie.. but a supercharged 240 would be beastlike, mine has a supercharger noise to it with the fanclutch(clutchfan)alfhksaj or whateva that thing is that makes that cool swoosh noise when i rev up because its going out lol that sometimes turns heads like wth?!?

Just stick w/ turbo. IMO imports were made to have turbos not superchargers.

Apparently he's never heard of the MR2 with the 4AGZE (S/C) engine. Yes it came from factory with a supercharger.
