Thermostat
Ok, I was driveing my 90 240 the other day and the heat was not working and the car over heated. I popped the hood and saw coolant spraying out from under the thottle body. I pull everything off, look at all the hoses and they all look good, no holes. So my question is, if the thermostat was stuck 1: would it keep the heat from working in the car, and 2: where the f*ck is the thermostat? The little hoses under the thottle body are a pain to. almost impossible. Any help is appriciated guys!
Also, when the heat works, the car doesnt over heat?!?! |
isn't hard at all, sux that no one helped you, I will
The thermostat is located to your bottom right hand corner, directly under the throttle body. It's super easy to change, just make sure you got sealant epoxy, or a thermostat gasket when putting it back together. :thumb:

Next time do it yourself. It is behind a gooseneck with three bolts holding it in.
