Thermostat

Ok, I was driveing my 90 240 the other day and the heat was not working and the car over heated. I popped the hood and saw coolant spraying out from under the thottle body. I pull everything off, look at all the hoses and they all look good, no holes. So my question is, if the thermostat was stuck 1: would it keep the heat from working in the car, and 2: where the f*ck is the thermostat? The little hoses under the thottle body are a pain to. almost impossible. Any help is appriciated guys!

Also, when the heat works, the car doesnt over heat?!?!

Thumbs up isn't hard at all, sux that no one helped you, I will

The thermostat is located to your bottom right hand corner, directly under the throttle body. It's super easy to change, just make sure you got sealant epoxy, or a thermostat gasket when putting it back together.

How much did they charge you? It's a couple bucks for the part and maybe 30mins to change properly.

Next time do it yourself. It is behind a gooseneck with three bolts holding it in.

I fragged my thermostat, waterpump and rad. I am replacing them all.

Labor is killer.
