bleh, a tube is a tube.

But if i had to bet money, id go with injen intakes cuz they come with everything needed to install. The lil adapter for the maf, lil rubber bushings and the lil hookup to the radiator fan shroud thingy, and all the various rubber fittings. Can't really decide which filter is the best, but id perfer the reuseable and washable.

Yes i have a injen intake myself they are very good but as far as cold air intake goes you'll get the most power out of it(as long as its true cold air). If you have just a short ram air intake or regular injen intake then a heat shield would be prefered. If you can get some extra piping made or if they make true cold air for your year 240sx(cuz they dont for mine ) i would go with that. Just like with turbos the colder the air the more power can be achieved.

I will always stand by my HDI (Home Depot Intake). I will never spend >$100 on a piece of pipe that does nothing more than carry air to the TB& look pretty.

The exhaust system is a different story.

Thats interesting, that you won't pay less than $100 on an intake... Therefor, I'm assuming you spent over $100 on your Home Depot supplies?

No offense, but i think that he was probably asking for personal experiences/opinons. Not dyno graphs from a manufacturers website, of which the results will probably not be repeated. So what is your opinon?

Well, he asked for a dyno graph, and thats what I supplied.

My opinion: If you're going to stay NA for a while, move your battery to your trunk. Then, cut out the battery tray and have an intake custom made to go down into the fender, underneath the old battery tray. That will give you the shortest and less obstructive path.

Yes, that is my car. And, thanks.

As far as that pipe is concerned, I picked it up form another local guy, who picked it up from a local guy, etc. I think it was actually FOUND that way in a scrap pile, and it was just cut to length. Its full stainless, 3", mandrel bent, and has smooooooth tig welds...

A frontal shot...
