I was just rebuilding my spair motor and I took off the throttle body to clean and noticed a vacuum line that leads to know where. there is a ball bearing in the hole that is circled.
What the hell is it for??????

coolant runs thru the t/b on DE engines. plug it up.

 

I know that coolant runs thruogh the throttle body but thats not the coolant flow tube that im talking about, it's the vacuum line coming off of the throttle body going to the vacuum gallery.
It come from the gallery into the throttle and stops because it has no place to flow or suck air from. look at pics very closely.

 

WOW, no-one knows what this is used for?
