Anyone down for Paintball?? NY/NJ areas...
I am going to be starting to ref and play again. It looks like the summer weather is finally starting to break.
Is there anyone on the site involved with paintball that would like to get a meet going or would just like to play?
Lets get the paint flying!

Oh man, paintball is the bomb! I went one time in my life a couple years ago and it was SO FREAKIN FUN. It was the biggest rush running/crawling through the woods while small round objects fly past your ear. THe only down side to it is that its freakin expensive if you don't have your own equipment, and most places only allow you to use paintballs that you buy from them. And if you're trigger happy, well, you'll rack up a good amount of cash for paintballs. Last time I spent well over 70 dollars for a day in the woods (gun and camo rental, 300 paintballs, co2, food) . I'd probably go more often if I didn't already have expensive hobbies (skiing, my car).

I tell most people to prepare to spend $100.
$30 entry. That gets you in and a marker.
$50 for a half case of paint. If you are going to shoot that much. Most people shoot a quarter case on their first trip. You tend to shoot more as you play.
$10 for an all day air pass.
$10 for camos and ammo pouch.
That is for a person who needs to rent.
Most people with equipment pay close to the same.
$20 entry.
$10 air pass.
$50 or more for paint. It just seems that you shoot more paint when you own your own equipment.
It is a bit expensive but it is well worth it.

I shoot a cocker. Here is a pic of it. It like everything got modded because I broke/wore it out. It is a 2002 vert feed.
I am looking to get my hands on an Imp with the vision eye.
I went to the NPPL tourney in AC last Sat. Man would I like to get involved with tourneys now!

I went last year paint ballin and that is mad fun, but... it is expensive and also i think it has to be a little colder, because I had to put on like 5 layers of clothes to protect from those shots that can sting and leave marks forever.
If you thought your car was fast, wait till u see these little bad guns get busy, I'll be down once it gets a little colder.
BTW how far is the jersey site from the crib?

45mins to an hour. This is actually the best weather. It is not too cold and it is not hot. The days will be overcast so sun glare is lessened.
The more layers you wear the more apt you are to receiving bounces and bounces hurt worse than breaks.
