hey guys

i was wonderin if anyone here was near paterson? i need some help putting my motor back together and getting it started for the 1st time in almost a yr! i really need help doing this cus i never worked on a 240 before. I have the FSM on hand so this will be easier. Thanx in advance to anyone willing to help out a fellow 240 owner

i live in east hanover , but i work in passaic park

 

Passaic is rite next to me, have you done timing on a 240 before? (or know how to do it?) I really want someone to help me out so i dont go and F-Up my valves. Timing is really the most i need help on, other then that i juss need to put the head on the block, new timing cover, valve cover and intake manifold. Can you help out a fellow 240 owner? (if you can help me out, ill see if i can hook you up with suttin. I have connections almost everywhere) Thanx in advance!

Does anyone have the tool to take the pulley off for the timing cover?

just let me know like a week in advance, i'm the manager over at strauss in Passaic Park, i can change my schedual a lil if need be. I'm usely off on Sundays . And negitive on the tool..

 

everything is ready here you guys let me know when you can come over and ill be ready. Schools out so i got free time. all i need to do is go pick up new hoses and we set.

i need to find that dam tool tho...
