Johnstown PA meet Oct 1st

Yes, i just made a new thread... here's some screenshots of the towns w/ restaurants labeled. It might be easier to find somewhere off the turnpike, since thats the direct route between Pittsburg and Harrisburg...

Driving to Johnstown from Harrisburg is 138 miles, Pittsburg to Johnstown is 67 miles

Johnstown:

Bedford:

Everett:

Steak would be good too, but could be a bit expensive. In either case, i'm down for the meet. The pittsburgers (myself included) should leave town at the same time and roll across the state together.

Pittsburghers, do you want to meet up down by the waterfront where like lowes, dick's, best buy, steak and shake, etc. are...we could meet in one of the huge parking lots and then roll from there.

Sure the more the better.....unless anyone disagrees. And to sum up the P's group plans......we'll meet at the Lowe's parking lot on the waterfront at 9:30 am on Saturday October 1st. We'll all introduce ourselves and roll out by 10. We'll hit Johnstown by 11 or somewhere around there and meet up with the Harrisburg group. We still need to decide an exact place. Pick a restarant for starters and we'll get lunch then go from there.

Anybody with walkie talkies bring them. I got two but me and my friend (if he comes) will probably use them. At least somebody (if not all) should have one so we can communicate on the road. Planned route is turnpike as it's easiest.

Any objections/suggestions/requests feel free to post.

I say johnstown is too far out, makes you go all the way down the turnpike and then north... somewhere right on the turnpike would be easiest imo.

walkies is a good idea, and so is spreading to nico and zilvia. I know that one 300zx may come down, so a few more nissans wont hurt

i posted on zilvia... someone get ******** i'm not on there

circled are the best places to meet (imo) johnstown prob has the most activities if we decide to go do something... but the Napier area is almost dead center
Even altoona may work, but that's a lot of travel for both groups
