junkyards

Any of you go to any junkyards in the area? I'd like to know where some of them are. I know theres a site where u can search junkyards for parts, but I'd like to know specifically where these places are in NJ.

Try www.car-parts.com

You can search for parts by area. I use the North East Coast function.

I have also travelled to www.als-auto.com for parts. He is in PA.

Well, no parts in mind now, just for future reference.

Ok, actually, i do have something in mind, but not one I'd put money down for anytime soon. I read on another messageboard that someone got a nice set of 17" rims from a junkyard (it was for another car tho, not the 240) for really cheap (it was a set of rx-7 rims, which he put on his mx-6).

I plan on keeping my stock 16" wheels for a while (they are pretty nice, i'm happy with them). But I'm thinking next time I need to get new tires I might consider getting new wheels too. So I wonder if you can find a nice set in a junkyard for half the price. Would any 5-lug wheel fit?

Shame is when I search for a VLSD only one comes up and it is the one from a J30.

Anyone have a local connect for a VLSD?

I would rather a cash and carry.....
