The guy in question is a member of Team Invader. I'm not sure if they have a website, but I dunno if that helps. If you really need to find him, let me know I'll get a hold of him, he's local.

Koo...thanks Stan. I jes wanna look him up to see if he can hook it up wit HID retrofit. All of a sudden i got the sudden urge to change my headlights. I got another Q...whats the best HID kit out there rite now? And when they say that HID kits will make you loose your hi beams...thats only for the S13 since they only got single head lites rite?

if your low and high beams are in different housings/ bulbs, you shouldn't lose the high beams, but your low beams won't turn off when you click on the high beams.

well the best ones out there right now ray are the sylvania and the phillips
catz may be good but they just came out
and yes you can go with hid lows without losing your highs..
and now the only problem you have is what degree of hid's you wanna choose
the most popular apps right now are
6000 (or 5000) which are pretty blue
and the
8000 which are purple..
just make sure after you install the hid's that you reaim your headlights..
also good sight to check out is
www.suvlights.com
(great place esp for the s14 they have the 6054 sylvania hid conversion
and
www.groupbuycenter.com
they always have groupbuys for like 300-500 for the hid's
just make sure you aint getting crap like hanabi

ray!!!! WE MISS YOU
we'll try and make a meet just for you ok?

The Catz system with the amplifier units has been out for close to three years. They were never popular due to the HID retrofit craze.

The Catz system boosts your halogen bulbs. They come out very bright but I don't know if they end up casting any more light. This could also lead to housing damage due to the higher amount of output = higher temperatures.

You can wire the HID ballasts to your lows but they will turn off when you hit your high beams unless you do two things:

Change the relay to one that will leave the low light circuit closed when the high is hit.

OR

Hard wire the low beam off of the switch before the relay.

OR

Purchase a kit that changes the relay and a halogen high beam.

Coolness. I will check up on the Catz system but I think I would go with the Phillips first.

k im confused as hell...is that for S14 or S13?!?! My car has seperate fog lights, low and hi beams. I know that when i turn the hi's on, the fog lights cuts off. So wit the HID kit...when i turn on my hi's itll now kill my low's too?!?!
