Need Sleep
Need Sleep
Damn, I just crashed. I was driving on rt 1 going to work from school at about 9:50 pm. Well I fell asleep at the wheel and i swayed to the right and well all i know is when I woke up the car was slammed into the curb and 2 tires blew out. Geez this work school thing is killing me. Literally
josh-glad to hear you're ok. too bad about the car though huh.
sorry about your boy man
the windows down radio up does not work for me though. i've tried that on several occassions in the past and still found myself drifting
into dreamland. that works temporarily but then the body readjusts itself to the new conditions, i.e. noise/cold. remedy: pull over, or before yous start driving, walk around or something. not that i've done this but jumping jacks or something stupid like that would get the heart rate up thus regaining alertness, for a while at least. might be enough to get you home safely...

I constantly find myself sleeping when driving the civic. It is too comfortable compared to the 240.
Now I am getting used to that and I have found myself a lane over when I am on the highway going home.
There is a law in the works that if you kill someone in an accident and you were found to be asleep you can be charged with manslaughter.
All they need to prove is that you were sleep deprived prior to the accident.
