Talking What to do wit $1000?

K thats the question...opinions???

Ideas so far:

1. Rims 17/18's
2. Sounds *12' subs
3. Tein/JIC coil-over
4. Save it and save up for:
a. N-SPORT kit
b. SR swap

3.

Music gets to be a very costly subject and can cost more a lot faster than adding power, trust me I know.

suspension. once you can get the car to corner like a beast, then add the power. once you corner like a beast and have power, then add the sounds. Then when you corner like a beast, have power, and sounds to bump the block, then get rims, but nothing ricey though

If you are only spending $1000 for 17s or 18s, tehy are gonna be the sh!ttiest FF rims I have ever seen.

If you are only spending $1000 for coilovers, you MIGHT be able to get some World Sports. The "good" JIC are $1800, and "cheap" TEINS (HE) are $1300.

I dunno what your car already has on it, but here is a good list of mods and the order to do them:

sporty tires (or rims/tires, but 15s are fine for now)

upgraded brake pads / fresh rotors / rebuild calipers

new (urethane) bushings for things like TC rods / LCA / swaybars

spring/shock combo (or coilovers if you want ultimate performance)

rims

now here is where it's time to make the decision... are you going for a racecar or a quick street car? If you're building a car for autox/etc you might want to keep doing sus and driver aids here, otherwise you can start doing little power things... exh/intake/header/etc.

If I could do it all over, I'd go from rims and then start doing seats, chassis stiffening bars, rollbar, etc. THEN finally work on power.

Here's what I tell everyone, over and over and over.

1. pick what you want your car to do (including your budget). Street cruiser? Drift monster? Drag queen?
2. plan out your mods and parts to COMPLETELY fulfill your #1

your suspension is fine for your type of driving ray.. i think you should save up and make more power out of that ka..
and maybe just maybe you can get into the low 15s (JOKING)
but the nsport should get you in 14's with ease.. even if you are drinking all that god forsaken red bulll

300 should get you high 13's low 14's
mostly 13's
look at most rwd muscle cars...
they weight a few hundred more but also have tons more hp
so if you get about 300 you should get 13's
hell if you get a good start and dont miss a shift you might break mid 13's
