Cops wrote my friend out a ticket for $109 for no lights on a bicycle. My friend is still in high school and doesn't even have a drivers license yet lol. I love Canada. When we don't have any crime to fight...we make stuff up and fine people for it!.

 

That;s frucking rediculous!! $109 dollars?!? I'd tell him it was a stolen bike, then maybe the fine for theft would be less than one to own a bike and not have lights. lol

 

it's 109 canadian...and what happens if you...just dont pay it? what did they do? just hand you a ticket withouth writing your name on it? you dont have a license...

 

yea its pretty crazy. Here is a pic. The cop asked for his name and address and everything I guess...or got his student ID. He is not going to pay but some people have said that a cop will show up with a court order and maybe even arrest him! My dad got arrested when I was a kid because he hadn't paid some parking tickets he had gotten.
