Found this on altimas.net. It's a ****ing dope *** video of 04' STi scooby owning. And the background music is metal (stone sour) not gay hippity-hop cRap.

The 2.5L STi engine is USDM only. Maybe he is a hardcore rice boy and wants people to think he is JDM...

Smaller displacement doesn't necessarly mean "downgrading" , especially when it comes to Subaru Tecnica.

Not always, but in this case it does. The 2.5 has a much better torque curve. Should also have higher potential since the engine designs are similar, the 2.5 just has a crap load more bore.

I heard that although it produces a lot of torque over a very narrow band, the torque curve is horrible and totally drops off after it peaks. And the larger bore just causes detonation if you add mods.

The 2.0 lovers are saying that Subaru punked out.
