240s Xplostion

Did anyone else notice how many 240's were in this month's Modified?? The mag starts with some editor talking about Hollywood bein JDM cool... then there's the enjuku drift s13.5's, widebody s15, 5lug conversion s14 and finishing up with a G35... that's more nissans than i've ever seen in one magazine. Imo, it's not a good thing either

It's just plain good reading if you ask me. Would you rather keep seeing honda's and more Honda's??? Nissan's just getting a little more attention these day's. Modified happened to have a good article on Daijiro Yoshihara and his daily driven s14 back home. Most of the Nissan's they put in there are usually clean and not ricey at all. Check out this month's issue.

^ha, i'd like to keep seeing honda's in there... i dont usually buy that magazine. Good reading to you means more riced out 240's (thanks f3f3!) in the future. usually stick with d-sport, they have the best articles that arent nissan/honda/toyota bias, just real facts.

I don't know how long you guys have been around but for the guys that have been around the block a few times this is all good news.

**** you guys get diffs for 700 in an open carrier. I remember paying 1600 for an ats 2way for my open carrier. One of the first in the USA.

Thats a good point...we get better, cheaper, and more abundant parts from the bigger companies because of the media at a cost. Look at Honda/Acura, they obviously have a HUGE selection at their disposal, some good, others bad. They get a lot of "Ricers" in the market, but their is still plenty of true enthusiests who build their cars right.

I dont really mind them putting Nissans in Magazines, I just hate how everything is biased "Sr this, or RB that" We need VARIETY in build ups and features....only then will I be satisfied.

everything in that new issue is sr or rb... the article on the kouki is probabl the gayest thing i've ever read "It's soo dirty, it sick, its nasty" WTF! haha the other part was like "we chose the s14 sr20 becuase of the extra power and easy wiring" have fun with the vvti!
