<3 French Fries-buildthread-Waffle Fries and special man sauce!
Alright guys Ive been holding out on you.
After about 3 months of not spending a cent but for gas on the 240 I've decided to treat her to some lovin'.
This is my vehicle if you didn't know--
I got pretty tired of the whole 4x4 look. Since I wanted performace because one day I'm actually gunna track this vehicle (autox on sunday), I went with powered by max coils.
It was like Christmas when I opened the door and UPS was standing there with this heavy *** box.
The worst thing about my car is I have this wierd stick shift with drive, park and stuff on it. I don't like it much so I bought this stuff too
Yay
I'll have pics up of vehicle with coils along with autox pics this weekend.

... you mean I cant use the auto tranny!?!?!?!?
lawl j/k. I gotta go pick the tranny up from Kansas City.
I dont have the rest of the parts cause I'm upgrading them.
Stage 2 clutch (for KA-t)
1pc Alm Drive Shaft
Light Flywheel
yay yay for the quick revving KA! Thats why the 5speed swap isn't for about another month or so.

UPDATE UPDATE
Alright so saturday I went down to the automotive help center on base. huge garage with 30 bays in it, 20 of which have lifts and they have any tool you can think of... all for the grand sum of $3/hr. Pretty ****in sweet.
popped the car up took off the wheels, whip out my wrench to tackle these knuckle bolts holding the brake to the strut. HOLY ****. Cannot get this thing off. I thought at first it was cause I was a *****, but when I positioned my legs on the inside of the wheel well and pushed as hard as I could, I know it was ....
AN EVIL BOLT!
So Im stuggling on this ****in bolt for like 30 mins then a bright idea comes to my head.
IMPACT GUN!
and it was off! then I tossed on the front coilover
I only had it set for about half way... figured that it would be atleast a little lower than stock.
I was wrong
whatever.
so I spent another 4 hours adjusting (lift car, lower car, lift car, etc...) and installing rears. The rears dont really have any option than hella low.... wierd.
well this is the vehicle post install.
I don't think its very good for my car since its so low.
Autox
3 hour drive at 5am... sweet. I follow an S2000 with wheels posted up on the back of it to get there. yay
waiting for tech
After I ran my first autox... it was sweeeeeeeeeet. I think lack of alignment, baller *** negative camber and the fact that the auto tranny <3's downshifts are the reason why I drifted everycorner instead of sticking.
look at that cheese
I have no videos or pictures because my photographer talked me into riding with me. It worked out well though, she aint complaining about me spending money on the car no more hahaha
right after my last run, the skies got very gray... then seriously 5 mins later it started raining... hard...
it was over in 10 mins and it all dried up.... wierd *** kansas weather.
end

LOL at your post.
good stuff.
but dude, you realize that you can basically adjust the height of coilovers off the ground because you adjust the mounting bracket and not preload. but yea looks like you got everything figured out. oh and did you flip the lower mounting bracket on the fronts?

Didnt need to flip it, dont need it to go any lower than it is. Thats why you flip it right? The rears are hella tucked and thats as high as the coilover will let me go its crazy If I slammed it I'd prolly be coving the rim.
I wasnt adjusting the preload to adjust height, I was raising it and adjusting it from the bracket at the bottom. Good or bad?
I got a question for you guys.
When I turn theres a "popping" noise... sounds kinda like when the CV boot busted on my civic. ( like a spring compressing or something) Anyone know the reason behind this?
I'm way more noob than I thought.

Are you sure those arent S13 coilovers? I think the only difference between the S14 and S13 suspension is that the rear struts on an S14 are longer. In fact I just did a search, and they are. They sent you the wrong coilovers my friend.
