I used to own a 300zx, and for the most part the owners of all the Pre-Z33 Z's are awesome people. It has less to do with the cars than it has to do with arrogance. The rich people who can buy a 350Z are arrogant as hell. I would say 90% of them didnt even know the Z existed before the Z33. They have no Nissan brotherly love either, they couldnt care less about anything but their "image."

sadly this is true.

I love the car but hate most of the drivers.

i passed one once in my s14 and gave him a thumbs up, he looked at me and just smirked and started revving his engine for some reason.

ive met others that were total *******s.

I think we need to remind them that they dont drive a porsche

toyota makes good sport cars like the mr2 celica and the supra. but they make nothing imo that is comparable to the sentra, altima, or maxima.
imo the maxima is the perfect mix of power and class. my 2000 jetta is ok as far as class, but it's not very durable or powerful.

my mom has a quest, dad has a maxima, i have a 240 and jetta. my brother will probably get a maxima and i'm looking for a mr2, celica, altima, or maxima.

so yes nissan and toyota rule.

i guess part of it has to do with the fact that if anything needs to get fixed i end up fixing it. we've owned other cars such as chevys, dodge and fords. i've worked on all the cars we've owned and the nissans are by far the best cars we've owned. they are very reliable and easy to work on if needed.

Do they even use the same motor anymore? I dont think the maxima uses the VQHR. Even when they did it was de-tuned. Still, as fast and nice as the maxima is, i agree its FWD FTL.
